mindset and airports

pretty fitting,

as im currently sitting in an airport waiting for my flight...

it's the little things like this that really make us stop and sit back and grin.

you are the pilot to your life.

there will always be turbulence, and TSA, and crying babies, and delays, and bad weather, and the list goes on and on...

however,

i actually am the rare breed of humans that love airports.

the smiling passing strangers that don't know a single thing about you in hopes that maybe they will one day.

maybe they'll hear about my book or attend one of my events.

maybe they'll say, "i had a quick conversation with her after passing through TSA, i remember her!!" (that lady was so nice, for the record)

so yes, the bad stuff will always be there. always. everyone has it. or, you can laugh with a stranger about the other stranger next to us snoring with his crooked ball cap on, airports are the most amazing spot to do a good deed for no recognition. simply to allow that person who HATES airports, a reason to hate them just a little bit less.

so remember, you're the pilot to your life. educate yourself and prepare for a safe landing.

This is certainly the place to be when I need help connecting with my inner-self and personal reflections. They certainly help me to see a world not bound by hate, confusion, anxiety, or biased options. A REAL treat!

This post is very interesting to me. I am the pilot of my life and I hate how my plane keeps crashing. Or should I say I can make it to the end of the run way and get the nose up and ready to fly but then my wings break and I have to get back on the run way. Everytime I make a plan for either weight loss or finances something always comes in and makes me crash.

However, on the airport it is s great place if you like to watch how people interact with others when they are about to be separated. Some are happy and some are sad to see there person or people leave.…
