struggle bus. we've all heard of it, when you fumble for the cash to pay your barista at starbucks & you just laugh & say, "man, I've really been on the struggle bus today."
we all have those days, the days where you wake up & see that you never plugged in your phone but you say, "it's okay i'll just charge it on my way to work." then, you go to get your cup of coffee & see that it didn't do its automatic thing so now you don't have your morning coffee... "it's okay, i'll just stop at starbucks on my way to work" then you hop in the shower... no hot water... great. fast forward to when you're ready for work & you go to get in your car.. you see that you're almost out of gas.. that's great, now I don't have enough time to grab my coffee. you get to the gas station & to your surprise, you go to pay & your card gets declined.... throughout the day the list just goes on & on & never seems to stop & when it comes to the time where you snuggle up back in bed you take a huge sigh of relief & can only hope that tomorrow will be even one ounce better than today was.
truth is.. we are all always on that struggle bus... it's a round trip that never ends & just happens to be free. the thing most people don't realize though, is that it all depends on the seat that you choose. are you gonna choose the one that's got no windows & is a seat all alone by itself where you just sit & self loathe & don't do anything to try & turn the day around & you just have the "of course that would happen, life hates me." attitude. or would you rather choose the seat that faces the sunrise, the one by the cute old man that tells you to have a good day every morning & across from you is the single mother & her happy as can be 8 month old daughter who loves to smile & laugh & you just take these "bad luck" situations & take them with a grain of salt & have that "ok life, you wanna play games today? lets play games." attitude. stop letting life happen to you & start happening to life. get on that struggle bus with pride & don't forget to tell the driver to at least turn up the radio.
